Did We Bury A Time Capsule?

Category: Miscellaneous — Chuck @ 2:04 pm

Does anyone know anything about a time capsule? Here’s a message from Sharyn. Anyone able to help us out? Post a comment or email me.

Hi! Happy New Year everyone! I just learned that RHS will begin building a new school (same location) sometime next year. They are aware of a time capsule that was planted, but don’t know where to dig it up. Wasn’t that planted our senior year? Anyone remember where?

  1. A time capsule does sound familiar, but I don’t remember any details. Maybe someone who has their senior yearbook could look in there and see if we notated anything.

  3. If I remember correctly – our Senior class bought a sign for Riverview and also some computers – I thought we decided to put the time capsule next to the sign?? Because that way both our gift and our time capsule would be together??

  4. After receiving the “DQ AWARD” – The “My Scene” Dennis Quigley likeness barbie doll trophy – with accessories & boom box included, —- I had an immediate, overwhelming and uncontrollable urge, and feeling of necessent responsibilty —– like a mother has for her newborn child —- to determine the where-a-bouts of the lost Bicentennial time capsule. With the inherent risks assumed — and knowing in advance that those in charge of the time capsule some 30 years ago, wouldn’t even remember that they were in charge — let alone where they buried it —- I did the implausible, the unthinkable —- I asked linda Gay where it was buried. She paused for approximately two nanoseconds before firing off a barage of accumulated concretions to which a dozen different types of ellaborative discriptics had contributed -or- in more simple terms — She recalls the burying site to be near the front of the library.

    SO MY QUESTION IS THIS

When do you un-earth a time capusule? (how much time should pass?)
    Who digs it up?
Did we take out insurance on the capsole?
Do we need a dig permit? or just a shovel?
Who gets to keep the goodies in the capsole?
    and
Can I bury my likeness doll in the time capsole if we find it ????
